  2. Pay the balance at least 4 weeks before arrival; failure to comply may result in the reservation being cancelled and the pitch or accommodation being re-offered for rent.
  3. To change the dates of your stay without altering its original duration, email info@laguyonniere.com; the current daily rate applies and a flat fee of €50 is charged.
  4. NO SHOW: if you do not arrive on the scheduled arrival date and no communication is received within 24 hours, your booking is cancelled and all payments made are retained.
  5. Interruption of stay: if you leave early for any reason, the full amount remains payable and non-refundable.
  6. Cancellation by the guest: send a written request to info@laguyonniere.com; all amounts already paid are retained unless you have subscribed to the Serenity Option.
  7. Cancellation by the campsite: all sums paid at the time of cancellation are fully refunded; no compensation or damages are due.
  8. Changing to a different accommodation category is subject to availability; if you upgrade, the price difference must be paid, and if you downgrade, the original booking price still applies with no refund.
  9. In case of force majeure (natural disasters, fire, exceptional weather or health events, or governmental decisions preventing the campsite from opening or guests from arriving), the campsite follows the French authorities’ instructions; no compensation or damages are due.
  10. Guests can log in to the “My Account” area on the website with their email address and password to pay by credit/debit card, update travel details, book new stays, view the history of their stays, manage newsletter subscriptions, or contact the campsite.
  11. Changing the number of guests: you may add extra people up to 6 per pitch (or up to the accommodation's maximum capacity) by emailing info@laguyonniere.com; if notified at least 30 days before arrival, no administrative fee applies, otherwise a €50 flat fee is charged in addition to the current daily rate.

Can I reserve a specific pitch or accommodation?

The whole campsite is wooded, so many pitches benefit from natural shade, but the amount of shade varies with the pitch orientation and season. Do you allow visitors, and what are the rules and costs for day and overnight guests?

Yes. Visitors are welcome.
• Day visitors: €7 per person; vehicles must remain in the external car park and they may not access the water park.

Yes. Free and accessible Wi-Fi is provided across the entire campsite so you can stay connected. The network is stable enough for browsing, messaging and standard video calls or remote-work tasks, but it is not powerful enough for streaming films or series.

Is the campsite suitable for guests with reduced mobility?

Yes. Camping Village de la Guyonnière holds the “Tourisme et Handicap” label and offers flat pitches near services, adapted sanitary blocks, two fully accessible accommodations, two sensory-adapted units, a wheelchair lift for the pool and step-free access to all services.

Are pets allowed on the campsite, are there any restrictions or limits, and does it cost extra?

Yes. Dogs (and other pets) are welcome on all camping pitches and in the “Cottage 6 persons – Pets Allowed”. A maximum of three pets may stay on a pitch and up to two pets are permitted in that cottage. There is no extra nightly fee or cleaning surcharge. However, category 1 and 2 dogs (Tosa-Inu, pit bulls and rottweilers) are not permitted. A 1,500 m² fenced dog park is available on site, and three gates give direct access to Lac du Jaunay for walks (dogs may walk but not swim there). Nearby Les Granges and Sauveterre beaches also allow dogs all year round.

Do I have to pay a deposit when booking?

Yes. Bikes are rented from the bike-rental hut next to the grocery store. You can choose from hybrid bikes, electric hybrid bikes, mountain bikes for adults and children, and child seats are also offered. Rentals are available for a half-day, full day, several days, a week or the entire duration of your stay; simply speak with the technician at the hut to select the bike and package that suit your needs.

Does the restaurant cater for special dietary requirements?

What is the price for a pony ride and are there any age or weight restrictions?

A 30-minute pony ride is available for an additional charge of €10. Participants must be at least 3 years old, while visiting the Pony Club to greet the horses and ponies remains free of charge.

Is the aquatic park supervised by lifeguards and what are their operating hours?

The aquatic park is supervised by pool attendants during July and August. Parents remain fully responsible for supervising their children at all times.

What are the arrival and departure days for pitches and accommodations?

For camping pitches, you may arrive and depart on any day throughout both high and low season. For rental accommodations, arrival and departure days are flexible in low season but fixed in high season (mid-July to end-August) and will fall on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday depending on the unit booked.

Before departing, please stop by reception to hand in your wristbands and, if you stayed in a rental accommodation, your keys. It is also a good moment to share feedback and receive a friendly farewell from the staff.

Do I need to provide any proof when cancelling my stay with the Serenity Option?

Yes. When you activate the Serenity Option to cancel your booking, written proof may be requested by Camping Village de la Guyonnière before the refund is processed.

Which type of electrical adaptor should I bring for my pitch hook-up?

For connecting to the power supply on your pitch, bring a CEE (European male) adaptor and, if required, an EU–to-UK plug adaptor so you can plug in without difficulty.

What time do the campsite gates open in the morning and close at night?

The entrance gates reopen at 7:30 a.m. each morning and close at 10:00 p.m. each night. If you need to enter or leave outside these hours, please park in the external car park and inform reception in advance.

When and how can I pay the balance of my stay, and can I pay in instalments?

The balance must be settled in full no later than four weeks before your arrival. You are free to pay this amount in several instalments at no extra cost, provided the final payment is made by that deadline. Payments can be made by credit card in the “My Account” area of the website or by bank transfer, whichever you prefer.

How can I obtain an invoice for my stay?

An invoice is automatically emailed to you once your payment is accepted. If you do not receive it, please check your spam folder or contact the reception team to have it re-sent.

Yes. The on-site grocery store opens every morning and offers freshly baked bread, brioche, croissants and pains au chocolat for breakfast, along with a wide range of everyday items such as fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, drinks, cereals and other essentials.

What if I arrive before my accommodation is ready?

Key collection is only possible from 4:00 p.m. If you arrive earlier and the rental is not yet prepared, reception will give you your wristbands so you can enjoy the facilities, and they will call you as soon as the keys are available. No early key hand-over is permitted.

Do I have to clean the accommodation before departure?
